the USB ports on my old Toshiba Tecra750DVD laptop dont work (apparantly this is rather chronic on Toshibas). It also has PCMCIA slots. Does anyone know anything about PCMCIA adapter cards that take compact flash cards? I've seen them for as low as $20 but I dont know jack-squat about them. I want to use one to dump my digi-cam memory card onto the puter when the memory card is full, but since USB dont work I have to find another way (the PCMCIA cards that have USB ports built in look WAY to expensive for me). they're cheap enough that I'm gonna try one if I can find one for sale. Dont use credit cards so online is not the way to go for me.
