Well everyone, my career as an A-10 Crew Chief comes to a close tomorrow morning. I'll be hitting the road for Keesler AFB for Tech School. I'll still roam the board. And I plan on keeping up on the happenings of the Hog world. Unfortunately I didn't get orders to a Hog base. I'll be listening to KC-135's for a while up in Fairchild. Let me know if you need a tour of the area, since I'm in Pullman 90 minutes south, with friends and family in the Spokane area. Love to meet ya! Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. |

Horrido: Awesome!!! I have a friend that was up there for a while crewin' 135's but I don't know where he went. Now I have an actual contact near Spokane! I'm origanlly from Michigan and I thought the weather might be similar. Then I heard its more like a desert? If you could, e-mail me and tell me a little bit about the area? My wife has only been out of AZ for vacations and neither of us have ever been to WA. And maybe after we get settled in we can go for a beer or two. Thanks for the kind words, Mudd. I even know a couple of decent bars (exotic and otherwise) I hang out at every now and then with friends and family, and I'm sure if Weasel doesn't want to drink alone, he'll make friends fast to bring along that I can play border collie to. lol PS, I've got enough nets and jars for everybody. Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. You should see Horrido in the nudie bar. LOL, talk about a fish out of water. Fortunately, there was plenty of water for me and mudd to both have a great time, even if Horrido didn't, lol. "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction" Ronald Reagan |

I would like to say thanks for the pics and stuff you gave me over the past year or so because, without guys like you the Hog Pen would only be a cool banner and not much else. Ugly But Well Hung |

-135's aren't that bad, Weasel, just ask 30MM Jr. Now, if he could just get his hands on an "R" model, he'd be in hog heaven...so to speak! "Live every day like it's the last, 'cause one day you're gonna be right!" Well everyone, I made it to Keesler on the 17th (my 22nd B-day). The beaches are nice but the humidity killed me the first couple days. The drive here was boring other than the tire seperation I had in the middle of nowhere Texas! Did at least $900 worth of damage. Fun stuff. Fortunately the tire company is going to pay for the damages (at least they've given me a claim form to fill out). School is fun, we have 4 Non-priors in the a class of 12 I think. So its a good mix of SrA and Staffs, Active and Guard. I made friends with an former C-5 crew chief. We seem to think on the same wavelength on how to remember things about class by reverting to Crewing Jets. It seems to help. I've scored well on my first few tests. Other than that, I'm going up to Barksdale when the Bulldogs roll in to hang out with the old friends. And probably a few trips to New Orleans, often!! Thanx for the kind words Dice, but not needed. 30MM: I don't really mind the -135's, Space-A sign up will be easier though!! "From DCC to 3 Charlie Non-er in 3 months flat!" |

We had an Xbox in our break room. That and a widescreen, DVD player, home theater system, and a weight machine upstairs. If you ever are at Spang, check the armament shop out. "Some pup" Nickname by Fenderstrat72 |

In talking to 30MM Jr last night I found out that his group has a portable bar they can "RO-RO" as space permits. JP-8, beans, bullets, beer, in that order. Well, it IS a tanker, after all!
