It makes my day to know the french (spit) are nervous as whores in church, that a Texas redneck is going to take their trophy again.

First day climbing the Pierennes, and Lance shot from #6 to number 2. His biggest rival, Jan Ulrich cracked like a china cabinet that was hit by a super bouncer.

Things are already looking up. He may get the yellow jersey tommorow. I certainly can't wait for tommorows stage of the Tour de Lance

Ulrich has't had the legs since 98. Hamilton and Mayo were his biggest rivals this year, and Mayo got screwed early (although he's still within reach, if Lance has problems) and Hamilton fell well off yesterday, but is also still in the running. Hamilton has incredible climbing ability, and though I don't think he'll beat Lance, I think he will take a place on the podium. If Lance encounters ANY difficulties, Tyler will be right there to take his place. If Tyler rides well today, it would be in Lance's best interest to not take the yellow jersey. Make the french dude carry it for him a while longer.

El Diablo... that dude's been doing that for the past 30 years...

Same as yesterday. Armstrong & Basso are slugging it out for the Yellow Jersey, Armstrong in the lead. Ulhrich is still struggling up the hill all power and high gears.

An Arfcommer said he heard that El Diablo always stands by himself because he wears that devil suit nonstop & lives out of a van for the entire Tour.

Yeah, most people who follow the tour live out of vans for the duration. I would imagine he still follows basic hygeine, though. I hope. The tour is rarely crowded along the route, only at the finish or start, or some extremely particular part. He's most likely always alone because, well, heck, there's only room for so many vans! Have you ever heard of "Tour de France, Baby?" It's a great documentary about the Tour, made by some random dude with a handheld video camera. It's excellent.

And I am dissapointed. I wanted to see great things from Hamilton and now he's abandoned.

I could give a rip about bicycle racing; not knocking the sport, just not my thing...But I find it way cool that an American goes to France < spit, grab my nuts, and give the middle finger> and owns that race in their house.

Go 3-peat part deux Lance!

He probably smells french (spit) by the end of the race, thusly, after spending that much time in cheeseland, he will be accepted by at least the dogs. The dogs will probably think he is delightfully fresh being that he probably showered only a month ago.
