Lunatock -

I read your comments on the C-130 driver's description of flying into Baghdad Int.'l with interest, specifically:

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>
Yay or nay: Riding a mountain bike down a one lane mountain road fast enough for the uneven asphalt to resemble turbulence. And flying past a big red pickup driving up, close enough to reach out & touch it (except for sudden numbness making me ride one handed) owns the C-130 aces approach to BIA?
<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote>

Ummmm...nay f'ing way, dude. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but I think either way you have an opportunity to prove to yourself and others that your have the balls to do what the men and women in service to our great nation do every day. We put it all out on the line to protect our nation and others around the world who can't protect themselves.

My challenge is this: sign up. I read your profile, and it seems to me that you could use a good challenge. You're in Pennsylvania, and you could join the Army or Air National Guard if you don't want to do it full time. The Air Guard has units near Philly, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh. If you want to know what it's like to ride on a C-130 first hand, visit the 913th at Willow Grove and sign up as a loadmaster.

Until then, please don't compare riding a mountain bike to being in a combat zone.

ATTACK!

Does it count i've road a bicycle in a combat zone?

Does that make me unworthy?

Were you under direct fire at the time?

Only if you put yourself in for a Purple Heart for it afterwards like the 'gentleman' from Massachusetts currently running for president.

ATTACK!

The though crossed my mind that John F'n Kerry would probably try to force the CMOH on me for that insane coast down the mountain...maybe the Purple Heart too if I had acted apon the idea of slapping the grill of that truck.

That bag of recycled monkey diarhhea doesn't even deserve to be called a gentleman in quotation marks of ill repute. You are allowed to call him shiteater though. Yes. I believe thats what we will call him this week.
