I know a cardio doc and he says Columbia-Pres is one of the best cardio hospitals in the world (he doesn't work there either)

I don't have an explanation for the stat, except I'll throw out that maybe the most serious, dire cases go to the place since it is considered good and thus that inflates the % compared to other hospitals that have a different patient profile.
