it's nice, everyone in my class has it, mostly because the upperclassmen don't know about it yet, but you can call another user just like you could IM them, real easy and real cool.

The best Voice over Ip Ive ever heard is a Gaming software (Ventrilo). It is so good in fact that we Set up our own Server on my T-1. Voice quality and Free. Setup private channels, passworded channels etc.

skype is good between pcs but when I pay to call india or elsewhere it suffers bad static

I use Ventrilo here.

I game with it and talk with my wife and kids who are back in the states right now. Clear as a bell and minimal delay.

mat, I had the same experence here when I called home, but I found that the main problem was the 3-5 sec delay that you have to learn to talk wait, then wait for a responce. once my family had mastered it we talk fine on it.
