Letter Bombs Iraqi terrorist Khay Rahnajet didn't pay enough postage on a letter bomb. It came back with "return to sender" stamped on it. Forgetting it was the bomb, he opened it and was blown to bits. Hammed in Two animal rights protesters were protesting at the cruelty of sending pigs to a slaughterhouse in Bonn, Germany. Suddenly, all two thousand pigs broke loose and escaped through a broken fence, stampeding madly. The two hopeless protesters were trampled to death. Save the wildlife The average cost of rehabilitating a seal after the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska was $80,000. At a special ceremony, two of the most expensively saved animals were being released back into the wild amid cheers and applause from onlookers. A minute later, in full view, a killer whale ate them both. "A .44 magnum beats 4 Aces everytime..." |

Ditto here 44. These have been around since 1998. All fake. Fender "A woman drove me to drink and I hadn't even the courtesy to thank her". W.C. Fields |

No worries, they did seems too good to be true. Where did you get the real deal on these from? You mentioned Snoopes? What's that? I'm interested because I was working on a project for Exxon between Jan 98 and Nov 98 (at the time of the supposed Seal incident) and at the time, it was fairly prolific and well believed in the company. I'm not saying that makes it true, but it was certainly doing the internal rounds at the time. Cheers "A .44 magnum beats 4 Aces everytime..." |

It's http://www.snopes.com , a sort of "myth-buster" website. They've supposedly done tons of research on tons of different subjects (the dust spelling out "S-E-X" in The Lion King, for example), and either validated or debunked several 'urban legends'. It's pretty interesting to see the truth behind several ideas listed there. "The first thing you learn in life is you're a fool. The last thing you learn is you're the same fool.
