These people still mail any of you? I'm down to only one a week. And I dunno what's sadder, that they still try to swindle me, or that the picture I mention in this reply is real, though I lost track of it after my Grandfather passed away. <BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>Well fortune smiles apon us both...let's make a deal. There's a little problem concerning a branch of your bank I'd like to get around. In the Brooklyn branch, located behind White Castle Hamburgers, is a safety deposit box that was in my grandfathers name, problem is it was only in his name...and he passed away in 1977. It is known for certain that the contents of the box include a picture my Grandfather took: Three Nazi's urinating off a bridge somewhere in bumfuck, Europe. Now this picture is a family heirloom, and in itself quite an important historical artifact relating to the European Theatre Of Operations in World War Two. You help the greedy management of that branch to fork it over, and we may have a deal. P.s. the picture has been inside an envelope as early as the ninteen sixties, so any incriminating fingerprints et.al on it when it's returned will be held accountable by you and your bank. Oh and thanks for asking me for help with your fiancial dilema. You won't regret it. -----Original Message----- From: thomas mbeki <thomasmveki@yahoo.com> To: Lunatock1031@aol.com Sent: Tue, 3 May 2005 10:57:49 -0700 (PDT) Subject: urgent request MR. THOMAS MBEKI. PACIFIC BANK OF SOUTH AFRICA, 9TH FLOOR, HEERENGRACHT TOWER, STANDARD BANK CENTER,CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA. Dear Sir, I am Mr. Thomas Mbeki, Provincial Director Pacific Bank of South Africa, Cape Town Branch. I have an urgent and very confidential business proposition for you. On June 6, 1998, a Foreign Oil consultant/contractor with the South Africa Mining Corporation, Mr. Charles Andason made a numbered time (Fixed) Deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at US$25,000,000.00 (Twenty- five Million Dollars) in my branch. Upon maturity, I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but got no reply. After a month, we sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract employers, the South Africa Mining Corporation that Mr. Charles Andason died from an automobile accident. On further investigation, I found out that he died without making a WILL and all attempts to trace his next of kin was fruitless. I therefore made further investigation and discovered that Mr. Charles Andason did not declare any kin or relations in all his official documents, including his Bank Deposit paperwork in my Bank. This sum of US$25,000,000.00 is still sitting in my Bank and the interest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year. No one will ever come forward to claim it. According to South Africa Law, at the expiration of 5 (five) years, the money will revert to the ownership of the South Africa Government if nobody applies to claim the fund. Consequently, my proposal is that I will like you as a foreigner to stand in as the next of kin to Mr. Charles Andason so that the fruits of this old man's labor will not get into the hands of some corrupt government officials. This is simple, I will like you to provide immediately your full names and address so that the Attorney will prepare the necessary documents and affidavits, which will put you in place as the next of kin/beneficiary to his estate. We shall employ the service of Attorneys to process the necessary documents and letter of probate/administration in your favor in order for the transfer to take place. A bank account in any part of the world, which you will provide, will then facilitate the transfer of this money to you as the beneficiary/next of kin. The money will be paid into your account for us to share in the ratio of 60% for me and 40% for you. There is no risk at all as all the paperwork for the Attorney and my position will do this transaction as the Provincial Director guarantees the successful execution of this transaction. If you are interested, please reply immediately via the private email address below , response, I shall then provide you with my direct phone number more details and relevant documents that will help you understand the transaction. Please observe utmost confidentiality, and be rest assured that this transaction would be most profitable for both of us because I shall require your assistance to invest my share in your country. Awaiting your urgent reply via my email:thomasmveki@yahoo.com Thanks and regards. A personal favorite is the one e-mail I got from a Siera Leone refugee camp. Somehow a single mother in said refugee camp was able to e-mail me after finding my e-mail on a forum. Well I had to reply and inform her of some sad news...she was obviously better off than me since she had her own PC & ISP. While I have to surf at the library.
