According to a news peice about it, Iraq vets are saying it's mxing fiction with fact and has anti-war tones. What peeved those interviewed the most is that they claim the show portrays soldiers panicking when an IED goes off. They have film of soldiers next to IED's when they go off. They startle/jump/flinch (reasonable for a nearby largescale detonation), look around to make sure nobody's been hurt, and go about their business according to procedure. Bottom line is, it's so sudden, there's no time to panic, and therefor very undramatic. There is always hope-- only because it's the one thing no one has figured out how to kill... yet. |

Watched it.. found most of it amusing, but to say its "real to life" is like calling gang rape a minor social disorder... Non-compliant... Taser Taser Taser |
