Hi all,
I believe the Tornado IDS has some kind of nav system for low level flight that shows in the HUD the fligh course and level depending on ground elevations, excuse me for my english, I believe it is a kind of system that warns the pilot about the correct safe trayectory.
I wonder is the hog has something similar, or if it is all from the pilot by visual skills, maps, etc etc
Thanks in advance, sorry if I am asking something very stupid that should know.

Farris, the A-10 has an INS (Internal Navigation System) like all modern fighters, in fact it just got an update to the system which uses GPS for better navigation. There are symbols in the HUD to help you steer your aircraft to different waypoints.
The A-10 also has Radar altimeters which gives you your height above ground, included in that system is G-CAS or, Ground Collision Avoidance System, Bitchin’ Betty will tell you, “pull-up, pull-up”!
Ugly but well hung!
