Does anyone know why there have been so few hog drops out of UPT?

I don't know exactly, but the last few drops I saw at Vance were pure shit for the 38 guys. There was one, I think 04-02, where no one even got up when it was done, because every single person was thinking "this must be a joke, this can't really be it" but it was. There was much alcohol consumed that evening. Needs of the AF...

On the other hand, c-17s are being handed out like candy, if you were interested in "flying" an over-automated, luxury SUV.

That sucks for 04-02. Was it a B52/FAIP kindof drop for the T38 class? I've heard that the buffs may be going to the T1 side of the house. That would be pretty sweet for all involved. One less worry for the T38 class, and a reason to live for the T1 class.... just kidding

That's exactly what it was. 3 -52s, two T-37 FAIPs, and one F-16. Suckage all around, poor guys/girl. For a while they handed out B-1s from T-1s, but it overloads the T-1 squadrons. And they are packed as it is! It would make sense, though, wouldn't it? Either way, I think the KC-135 is the greatest plane ever built! (except that the guys usually turn battery power off whenever they pee, since our battery is in the latrine and they fear turbulance and missing, and that worries me...)
