Very nice prkiii and they have been added to my photos file!

BTW a little trivia on that last shot because it is such a pecfect example, notice the "dark" gray on the wings doesn't extend to the leading edge or wing-tip panels. This was changed because the leading edge and wing-tips comes out of supply painted the "light" gray. It was easier to changed the paint scheem than change the contract for these items and by changing the scheem the units no longer have to send them to the paint shop to have them painted dark gray.

I know useless info but now you know something a lot of people (even the ones who work on her) don't know (or care about)!

Funny...I downloaded that last pic the other day after doing a search on 'A-10' on http://www.airliners.net

Lots of great photos on there, I plan to surf them all over the coming week...first leave I've had in months!

what's the "Deora" like vehicle at the bottom of the grayhog pic?

The vehicle is a Daihatsu. We have several of them here in B.C. and use them to cruise the flightline, tow Lox carts, etc. They come in standard and 4 wheel drive for those tough Michigan winters!!

Hey, check out Photo ID: 303219...wasn't this the pic someone was claiming to be fake??

It lists Gregg Stansbery as the photographer, taken at Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida on November 8, 2002 ()

Love that noseart!

Cheers! M2
