Does the Air Force still use the OA-10A designation for FAC A-10's?

Run a Search. Many answers can be found their. Heres the Cliffnotes Version

FAC is a Pilot Skillset. Their is no special mission gear that seperates a OA-10 from an A10. Only the Ownership books and manuals that is used to maintain it. In name only.

The U.S. Military works as its own PR and lobbying Firm.

To sell it to congress, sometimes a document is created or a unit is stood up to either save the program, or to get funding for it to sale its value to get budgetay money.

A10 is surviving on a shoe string budget. Their hasnt been any special investments for a chosen few, Just a scheduled rotation to get all the fleet to the same standard.
