Dice Retirement is not all that bad give it time you will find something to do.There is always needle point or counting grey hair but if you need some ideas watch the movie Second hand lion, the salesman thing seems right up your ally <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Don't forget the typical flightline meal, BK on the run. Heck I actualy remember eating BK while doing a engine run. Fries on One side and Large Drink on the other.<img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle>

HP,THAT WAS MY FAVORITE "IFKM" WAS THE FRIED CHICKEN.
I GUESS THE MAC ONES WERE DIFFERENT THAN TAC AT THE TIME.
BOLOGNA AND CHEESE SANDWHICHS DURING CHEMICAL EX. AND ON THE LINE IN THE BOX INSTEAD OF A MRE.
I HAVENT TOUCH ONE SINCE .

BUT BACK IN THE EAFB DAYS DOWN BY THE MAIN DRIVE WHERE 165(OR 167)CROSSED THE MAIN STREET THE GAS STATION WAS THE ONLY "24HR" ANYTHING. THEY HAD A SHORT ORDER GRILL THAT MADE SOME OF THE BEST CHEESE BURGERS AND ONION RINGS AROUND.USE TO GO OVER THERE AT 0200 AFTER A LONG DAY AND PIGOUT.
I HAD A COUPLE OF GOOD FRIENDS WHO WERE SP'S ON THE RAMP AND I WOULD GET THE FOOD AND BRING IT BACK FOR THEM. WE WOULD THEN GO PARK OVER BY THE TANK FARM AND EAT.PRETTY GOOD TIMES WATCHING THE COONS,COYOTES AND EVERYTHING ELSE RUN ACROSS THE RAMP.
BUT THEY DIDNT SAY ANYTHING WHEN WE WOULD DRINK BEER IN THE HANGAR AT NIGHT AFTER WE GOT DONE EITHER.

I'll bet, Dice, you have some interesting stories. Something like this might be an interesting read:

This is, BTW, my eighth grade science teacher that started his own publishing company. I don't know how much circulation you'd expect from your book(s), but I'd say look into him.

I'd add serving ideas, too. How to eat while working, where you can put your food, stuff like that.
