Did anyone make it to, or hear anything about, the A-10 loadeo (SP?) held at Boise week before last? Did they have the "best in show" (which always gives great aircraft pics) this year, who won?

looks like I will be off work another couple of weeks so I'm thinking of reformating the Hog Pen with a new look (to keep me from going crazy) any suggestions or opinions on this?

I know a Load Troop at 422 Test/Agressor (viper AMU) He i believe went to this, and also works with the A10's.

Here I am! but I haven't even heard of the A-10 loadeo? I've been at Cold Lake CFB for the past 6 weeks for Maple Flag 37. Also, I haven't worked A-10s in over 2 years, these F-16s are hard to get away from <img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>

I would give any thing to go back to working A-10s! <img src=newicons/icon_hog.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hi wpnssgt glad to see ya drop in over here! You know SFP1 is a nice sim and all but, you could hang-out with us A-10 fokes from time to time...once an A-10 troop always and A-10 troop!

I GOT MY LAWN CHAIR AND BEEN WATCHING THE "AIR ADVENTURE" GUYS DOGFIGHT OVER THE HOUSE SINCE 0900 TODAY.

HAVE 2 OF THOSE ITALIAN TRAINERS AND THEY GO AT IT.

WHEN THEY SCORE A HIT THE BOOGEY HITS THE SMOKE BUTTON!!!!

COME ON OVER, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY IF THE WEATHER'S NICE THEY'LL START AT 0900 AND GO UNTIL TODAY IT WAS ALMOST 1800.

YOU CAN REALLY TELL WHO'S GOT SOME FLYING AND THE ONES WHO DONT.
THE EXPRIENCE GUYS GO FOR ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES FIGHTING,GREAT MANUVERS,SNAP ROLLS ETC... THEN FINALLY SMOKE TRAIL .THEN YOU GOT THE "I GOT THIS GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR FATHERS DAY" JUST EASY TURNS AND LEVEL AND SMOKE EVERY 2 SECONDS.

I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU AND MUDD DUKE IT OUT OVER MY HOUSE,

I EVEN SAW A C-130 OVER THE HOUSE TUESDAY,HE WAS LOW TOO SCARED THE DOG.
YOU CAN TELL THE NATIONAL GUARD GUYS ARE GONE,HAVENT SEEN A ATTACK HELO IN MONTHS.
