Gifted...It looks like part of the ALA but with the bottom of the chute missing. Never heard of a "Vulcan Pod" used on the A-10. Always the ALA aka the Dragon. From what I can tell of the diameter of the chute itself I'd say it's more just 20mm use than 30mm. Ours are wider and deeper. Maybe that person doesn't really know what they are looking at or talking about.

And that's not called a gun belt. That other pic is of part of the elements. And a HUD weighs more than 12 pounds. Looks like someone raided DRMO.

That HUD doesnt look quite right. I'm on leave right now, so I can't check before I post, but I could have sworn the forward glass is the same size as the aft glass. On the on on EBay, The foward glass is only half as big. Am I crazy?

Unless they've changed the HUD in the last couple of years that is definetly NOT the combiner unit out of an A-10.
The A-10 unit is square across the top with an apx. 2.5 inch X 8.0 inch cover plate. The forward glass is also the full length of the unit.

Gifted the part is not off of the GFU-7 however it does appear to be 30MM. I would speculate part of the loading assembly used to load the 30MM gun pod (Not used on A-10). It is in your CDC's, I cant remember the nomemclature.

Now that I look at it, it does look like part of the load head. I've not seen one like that though.

The ALA is the only 30mm loader in my CDCs. I don't know if you know or not, but they've been revised at some point in the last couple of years, a bunch of stuff that used to be in there isn't anymore.

This is probably someone who was told that this is what these parts were. Regardless of that I'm sure someone with a badge is looking at that stuff as well......

You can buy anything on EBay. I once saw an Alpha-Mach computer test set for sale. And I heard a rumor that someone had put an F/A-18 up for bid a few months ago. Craziest things I've ever seen there have been human souls and air guitars.

LOL, I havent needed to study CDC's in quite a few years. I was just going on memory from days gone by.
