After looking at 1,000s of designs I just can't find one I like for the Hog Pen!! What's wrong with the one you have? Personally I think it looks great, is user friendly and easy to navigate.

Do you have an ideal of what you’re looking for? If so, start with a blank sheet of paper and draw it out. If your artistic abilities aren’t that great don’t worry about it your only using this a platform to build your site from.

After that send me an email with a scan of your ideal, links to any possible template you may have liked and I’ll see what I can do for you. I’m not a pro so I can’t make any promises. However, I have learned a few tricks of the trade over the years and you know I'm always willing to help you out.

Skywarrior, I’ll take a look at the site and maybe drop by the forums.

engine guy, I guess I don’t need a new design and like yourself I like the old design just for the reasons you stated. I guess the thing is I have a ton of new stuff I want to put-up and with me leaving the A-10 program I kinda’ wanted a new design to reflect all the changes in the site and my own life.

Hitler, I’m not sure what I want that’s why I’ve been playing around with a lot of new designs. All I know is I want something to reflect the sites theme (the A-10) with some of the newer functions like “roll-overs”, drop-down menus, and anything that will help people enjoy the site better.

Here’s a couple of designs I like that I’ve been playing around with. I like the yellow based site but want more of a yellow and black stripped caution graphics to make it look like the emergency type items found in the A-10 cockpit.

I like the second one but it’s to “plan” with very little color and it really doesn’t say the A-10 very well.

BTW, I have an HTML program to code all the funtions I want, if I can find the design and graphics I like.

You could take the one Lil Hitler worked on, but make the spots where he put "My Bio, Photos, New thunder, and humor" the shape of the GAU-8a's bullet, on it's side.....
just a thought.

Good ideal, and it wouldn't be that difficult. heck I even have a chromed 30MM round hanging on the wall that i could take a picture of, although the projectile is made of wood and painted blue w/ a yellow stripe.

Dice, if you use the Yellow one, the title area where it says "the Warthog Pen" would look cool riddled with 30mm holes... <img src=newicons/idea.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks for all you guys inputs and suggestions. I'm going with the yellow design and hope to have it built, all the pages converted, and all the new stuff up in a couple of weeks.
