They where on their way home from a TDY to Fla., stopped in for a Gas-N-Go at Moody. The one aircraft left behind was broken for a grounding TEMS code and followed them home a few days later.

Nellis just had a TDY to Tampa, I wonder if the were there together?

The Nellis folks are still down that way I think...was going to go visit some friends, but would didn't want to let me go....

Nellis boys ADVON team left Tuesday, the main body leaves tomorrow along with the HOGS. I wish I was rolling down with them. It is going to be one hell of a party down there. The Maintenance Dogs really need to blow off some steam with all the crazy shit going on here, the PE jets just don't like all the sofware loads being thrown at them. Of course nobody points towards the engineers who wrote the crap, it's always the maintenance guys getting them blame.

My best friend use to be in that unit, just left for Korea January...he alwasy bitched about how "F"ed up that unit is...still have a few friends out there.....

The Town already knew, they had to get rooms ready for them.

If they were going to the "TEST AREA" or Overseas I'd be more worried,but when folks get ready to Deploy the "Cat is out of the Bag" already most of the time.
If they had been given a "OPSEC" briefing and did this that would be another thing, but I see you point D.B.

Dice, the base hasn't changed a whole lot since then, well at least the flighline side of the house. There are some changes around the rest of the base but if you where to visit I'm sure you'd still be able to find your way around.
