I'm just drawn to art work I guess and that's the first thing I look for on an aircraft. I have some questions for you guys about that rotation and the art on the doors but, I have to cut the grass and clean the house today because I go in for some minor surgery tomorrow (remove a couple lumps on my back) and will be sore the next couple of days...so I have to get it done today.

I got my days mixed-up and don't go into surgery until the 9th, O'well, I did get all my work done yesterday and that's a good thing!

We lost Vance on our second rotation in 1996 right? Also how many jet was on that rotation 24 or 12, as I remember it was 12? Last question, that was the rotation we recived the Outstanding Unit award with a V for valor..right?

Yes, we lost Vance on the second rotation. I know we had more than 12 jets, but I don't recall an actual number.

I agree with PK we lost Van on the second rotation, this I'm almost positive of because I was working the flightline and JB was our QA rep.

Number of jets, can't remember exact number but I do know the two primary rows were full and we had an additonal two rows of either 3 or 4 aircraft.

Yes that was the rotation we received the OS w/V. It's also the rotation that we did actual live fires. I've still got the T-shirt, I'll try and post a pic of it for you later on today.
