Here's the official, unofficial PE/A-10C patch, and here's a little about the patch itself. I had the warthog assmilated into the high-tech Air Froce by placing a "skullcap" complete with lasar and a green MFCD on one side, and metal on half the snout to show the "harden" nature and surviability of the A-10. On his shoulder and bicep are computer circuits to represent the new CICU/IFFCC and their computing power. His arm is a GAU-8A to show no matter what, the Avenger will always be a big part of the A-10 "Warthog", be it an A or C model. He has wires and tubes in a number of places to show how the A-10A/C are still powered "under the skin" by basic hydro and wires. The green inter circle is for the Euro paint scheme and the gray outside is for today gray shceme The F on his arm, which represents the original Fairchild logo, didn't come out a good as I had hoped but still looks nice.

They are $5 each and I will pay for shipping for 5 or less, more that that and you will have to pay for shipping. If I make any money off these an A-10 hat or shirt may be next.

I'm pretty sure I will see "rip-offs" soon so I will number and place my initials on the back of each (small). I have to keep 50 for the A-10 SPO/Eglin/LM/depot so your will start at the number 50.

Big THANKS to TG for having them made, I owe you one TG!!!

Dice, I'll be hitting you up for a few of those real soon, almost ready to finalize the #of coins. I'll put it all together(patch and coin order) and try to get you the money/numbers next week. Hope I'm on the short list for one of the first 50!

BTW Dice, would you like a copy of this week's "Eglin Eagle" newspaper? Has a 1/2 page or so article with pic and a small pic on front page.

Mugs,

I had the opportunity to visit the 40th FTS and have a close look at the A-10C last Friday. Everyone from the 40th and the PE program were first class and made sure we got the pictures and infos we needed for our stories. Maybe we met as well but I don't remenber being introduced to "Mugs". Got a chance to talk to Lou and Rich as well. Can I bother you for a scan of the article in the Eglin Eagle?

Dice,

I need two patches and I will use my Paypal account, please advise!

Mephisto.

Thanks for all your respones! I will verify the PayPal payments today and mail your patches out tomorrow. 30mm how about 4 until I see how many I need at work.

Jackb, the orginal design had the Fairchild logo on his arm but the two "dots" cam out as one line, if I get more made may be this can be corrected.
