An A-3 and F-111B both launched the Phoenix with successful intercepts during tests. Remember, the F-111B was the precurser to the F-14, and housed the same AWG-9 radar. Last time frame for an F-111 launch I can find was Sept. 1970, with at least 30 Phoenix launches. F-111B did attempt carrier quals, and failed miserably, in late 1968, being 23,000 lbs overweight (78,000 lbs max loaded, with a limit of 55,000 lbs).
