OK, I am checking this thread from the Army hotel where I am staying, which blocked PhotoBucket earlier. Am I not seeing the pics because of that, or were they deleted as they were a bit big?

Cheers! M2

The jets that deployed last year probably still don't have pilot's names painted on them yet.

I saw a picture at my home. What a took last year. In the yellow band in the top of the tail. Is a lightbold and not a Panther as the photo's now show.
I tried to put the photo in this topic, but sorry It didn't work.

ps, maybe somebody want the picture, than can I mailed it to you. It is a rare photo from a A-10 at Spang behind a sort of iron wall, I don't know the English word.

Wow...memories. Does anyone know if 81-0952 still has the lightning bolts on the stabs? If any jet will, it would be that one, being assigned to the 52FW Vice Wing Commander.

M2: No pics of 951? I'm disappointed...I miss that jet.

If you will notice, only the 81 FS/CC jet has the Panther on it, the rest of the jets have lightning bolts...

Raven

951 is the middle jet...

I've got no pics of 952, not sure if we even saw it.

Thanks Majormadmax. I shall look if I have a picture of 952. If I have I let you know.
Were you also in the hangar with their own European Lizard green painted A-10? They have only one in that colour system.

M2: Thanks for posting that last one. The green one at Spang is 553, and it's a trainer. Not sure if I have any pictures laying around of that one or not. 952 may have been off-station for some reason or another, or you may just not have seen it. Like I said, if any of them still have the lightning bolts on the stabs, she'd be the one.
