The Hawgsmoke2006 website is up and running at http://www.Hawgsmoke2006.com. It works best with the Flash 8 player installed, but a low-bandwidth version is available as well.

The site contains the latest news about Hawgsmoke 2006 and the 30th Anniversary of the Hog at DM.

Hope you all enjoy.

Feel free to use my e-mail address to let me know.

Great site, but some letters are difficult to read. When you registrate or give comment are the letters bad to read. Further, is it good to visit.

I'm also getting a reject on the email addy. I tried to let them know they have the wrong URL for my website, it warthogpen.com not warthogpen.org. There is also a problem with one of the banners on the "slow site" all I get is a red X on each page.

Thanks for the error-checking. I knew I could count on the keen eyes in this forum to keep me honest.

1. The links have been corrected.
2. There was a problem in the Webmaster email address account that is fixed now.
3. The "engraved bullet" includes the shell and the bullet that is pictured. They are really nice. The "bullet" part is solid machined aluminum, and it feels (and looks) like the real thing.
4. Not sure what to say about the text looking hard to read. I need to see it on a few more monitors. The 5-6 screen resolutions I tested for worked well.

Thanks again.

Inkjet,

Thank you for taking care of the problems.
The e-mail address worked for me some seconds ago.

Thanks for the link change Inkjet. One other small item, when you save the "slow site" URL to your favorites it shows as "untitled Doecument" I would go into the HTML and title the page to Hawgsmoke2006, A small thing but, it helps keep the site "clean".

Now that's what I call a Webmaster! If there is anything I can do to help the "cause" let me know. I have a number of historical document and pictures from the early days of the Hawgs at DM. I Was also thinking of a Hawgsmoke 2006 music video......

Dice,

We are putting together a video for the 30th Anniversary of the Hog Banquet. Any contributions would be eagerly accepted.

I have some pics from the early days at DM, but if you have any scanned in, I would like to see/use them.

Dutchy,

The registration is for people who want to attend Hawgsmoke in Tucson. We need to have a count of people and to get people without military IDs cleared onto the base.

Here's a couple from early desert testing done by/at DM, I can get you higher rez if you need them. I'm sure I have a couple of the early Fairchild Republic's "New Thunder" news letters including the one showing the delivery of the first A-10s to DM, I will have to look this weekend. Do you have a copy of the historical DVD made a couple of years back which contains a lot of old footage from the early days of the Hog?

Inkjet,

The Hawgsmoke 2006 website looks good but the Auto scroll is off. Resulting in not being able to see everything on a laptop.

Look forward to see what I'm missing!

Cheers,

You get the mis-sized page because you are blocking pop-ups. I am working on getting them scrollbars back for those who don't allow them, but it might take a day or two.

I'm over at the snowbird building right now with the 110th. Is there a "Snack-O" I can get with to obtain other patches while I'm here? I leave on the 18th so if the 06 Hawgsmoke patches are available I would like to stop by!
