Outstanding news, thanks Dice! I was hoping to meet Don at HAWGSMOKE, but as we all know I won't be able to make it to D-M for the 30th anniversary.

Cheers! M2

I cannot wait!
Its been a while since the publication of a new Hog book, I shall be watching Amazon with interest.

Don Logans gallery is definately worth a look, the photographs are superb, its great to see shots of the Hog in action.

Don Logan is a great man, he was kind enough to sign my copy of his first book. I would recommend getting his second directly from him, and autographed as well...see his web site at:

Info sent Hawg166 and prkIII. I will (hopefuly) have my new site design up sometime next week and it will have all the info on it and a more in-depth description of the book itself.

I do start 12 hour shifts (6 days a week) tomorrow so this time frame might slip a bit.

Might just have to order one myself.
I was looking thru his photo gallery and stumbled upon a pic of my old girl!
Weird though.........she has no tail markings, no black section checkerboards on the tail fins, and worst of all ....NO TEETH!
Gallery 3, pic 7 shows a very nekked girl!

Fresh back from some depot mod or something maybe? ANyone have any ideas?
Guess I should write Mr Logan maybe?

Here's the ifo from Don himself for all who want it....

Joe

Yes; If some want to just email me and tell me what number (the first 250 will be signed and numbered, after that just signed) they want. The unit numbers like 47FS 66WPS 81 FS, 103 FW , 104 , 111, 175, etc are already set to got to the units, also #1 and #10 would NOT be available. They can email me at swingwing@cox.net and I'll reserve the number on a first come first served basis. Since I don't know the price for sure (Schiffer said $49.95 and I'll probably sell at a 20% discount for $40.00) I don't want to take any money yet. I'll take an email list and notify the people when I receive the books,, if they don't have email I'll send a postcard. Then they will have about two or three weeks to get back to me before I cancel their reservation..

Santa Goose wont forget you Billy,<img src=newicons/saevil.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> he's keeping an eye on you.

<img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks Dice for letting us in on the deal, and Mr Logan for giving us a chance to get a signed copy.
I guess I should of asked for book "76th or 23rd" since someone,pulled a fast one<img src=newicons/anim_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle> but It never occured to me to see about a number.
I dont care as long as I get one .

Like Goose said, the number isn't that important, just having the book will be great. But I got #238 reserved anyway. <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Just a note, I emailed Don about the status of his book, and he replied that it was suppose to be out this week, but there had been no word from Schiffer Publishing yet.

Don also mentioned an A-10 reunion at Lost Wages...err...Las Vegas the week of 11 December. Anyone going?

Cheers! M2
