does anyone have more details about what happened to this plane?

Yeah, somebody painted some big, ugly Phoenix noseart on the summabitch! I've seen that a/c up close and personal, and the noseart (which never was on the jet when it flew) is hideous.

I believe that Hawg got badly bent somehow and it was rebuilt, but never certified to fly again; hence the "Phoenix." BUt I can't remember the details. I am sure someone else with a better memory will pipe up shortly...

The guy ran off the end of the runway, hit the barrier housing and broke the spine of the aircraft. It was unrepairable, so they put it on the sticks.
