I sent this guy a note when I saw that, before seeing it here.

I only said to him that after having worked the Hawg, I had never seen such a thing. Maybe hs should check his sources better before making statements such as he did!<img src=newicons/idea.gif border=0 align=middle>

I was actually sent the web site page with the pictures on from the guy who wanted them made, (http://www.orau.org/ptp/collection/cons ... trator.htm) as for the guy that commented on them, perhaps he has seen the same web page and wanted to sound like he knew what he was talking about, or just wanted to impress me so I keep using him for info. I will be seeing him again on Wednesday, so will query it with him.

As for the web site, any info on that.

The link worked for me. Someone is selling more of these!

Looks like they're mixed up between the round we shoot and the discarding, fin-stabilized sabot round shot by tanks. The tank round looks like the one they show on e-bay.

Man that link has some serious misinformation. I think coach hit the nail on the head. Looks like a tank sabot round.
