Well, let the COMSEC police are free to delete this post, but I will post it and see what happens. I don't know when the Hogs will be arrivign at Moody, BUT, we are going to start transferring our jets out of Eielson starting December 2006. DM will be getting the first bunch, then the Guard, Reserve and Pope (or maybe directly to Moody, I don't know). We got a list this week saying which jets are going where and when. Mine (238) will be going to DM. I know 995, 189, 240, 272 and one other that I can't remember now are going to Pope. BUT, if Moody is open by the time thos ejets are supposed to leave, then I guess they will skip Pope.
Basically the only real info I have on the whole subject is that Eielson is shuttign down sooner rather than later. And that the Original BRAC recomendation I read sayign where the jets are going is incorrect. I know we are sendign jets to DM, MD ANG, Barsdale, Pope/Moody and at least one other base that I can't remember now either.
They say that the only two things certain in life are death and taxes. I prefer them in that order.
