We were supposed to stop in Westover on the way back to Eielson, but it looks like we may be coming to Barnes instead. Long story why they may be changing our schedule. I know some folks here are at Barnes, so if anyone wants to get together for a beer and to put a face to a name, let me know. Same for anyone in Bosie.

Well the last time you guys from Eilson stopped here at barnes we ended up changing the fan blades on I think ten of your jets. Bad storm coming back acrosss the pond. We also worked a few of your jets not to long ago when you stopped here at Westover. For those of you that dont know Barnes is just 6 miles as the crow flies from Westover. I cant see you guys stopping here but I hope it happens again. Dont even feel like you have to call, the doors always open just stop by. I'll fire up the grill out in the gazebo and I am sure we can stock the cooler for ya.

Yeah, I was still in Korea then, but I heard about how they had jets broke, literally scattered all across the world.

Most of esta and 12 of the jets went to Westover, but I'm still in Sigonella with 2 jets. 1 is broke, and the parts are supposed to arrive in a few hours. Since it's only 2 jets, they are going to QT them in Lajes, have TA launch them from there, and have us fly commercial to MA. I've been told were most likely coming to Barnes, not Westover, because we have a 100 hr due on one of the jets like 24 hours out, and then we could use your oil cart and TOs.

Also they said then we are probably going to skip Boise since it's only 2 jets, and fly commercial again from MA back to AK.

I'll email you guys when I know when we're leaving. Thanks!

Spent the morning with Jack doing 100 hour inspections on one of the jets, and soaking up some rain. Actually we soaked up a lot of rain; into our shirts, socks, pants, boots etc. Jack should be home around midnight Alaska time.
