Anyone see this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRwwDwQV ... er%20pilot

Apparantly it is a two-ship from the 103 FW (CT ANG), the "Flying Yankees" in a MOA called "Yankee 1&2" over NH/VT...

Cheers! M2

It was that big black monstrosity. What a hideous paint job I would be embarassed to crew that thing.

Don't they teach these dolts to read the FAR's and such to get a license? MOA's are prohibited to civil aircraft when they are active. I would have violated this poge (in writing with the FAA, that is).

MOAs are only restricted to IFR civilian traffic. VFR can blow right through.

The following is the pilot's comments on this encounter.

Actually, we invited this intercept. We were getting flight following from BOS, they advised us of fighters. We told BOS to ask pilots if they wanted to practice an intercept. This is the result. Everyone had fun, completely safe. This is how it would look if you were intercepted. The flares for attention, 23mm gatling gun you don't comply.

Things were under control!

What a conversation piece. "Hey guys I got intercepted by a big black falic symbol with wings." What a gay paint job.

Nice video. I can just Imagine 30mm flying everywhere if the aircraft didn't comply with instructions.

Nice vid.......and aileron rolls.
I remember an apocryphal tale from the late 80's involving a late, great warbird operator and his son based out of Duxford.
The story has it that they were fond of 'jumping' any passing Warthogs they saw from the twinbases here in the UK, they were usually flying the company Spitfire or P40 Kittyhawk.
