I know we looked at this subject year or 2 ago but I racked my Brains, Where can you find a list of Unit Awards and Citations??? I'm having a complete Audit of my records, because My C-FILE has records the Archive doesnt have than I have records niether have,I had this up to date as of my Discharge but,my 214 doesnt reflect my Reserve time, and a couple of other things,So I figured I might as well go for broke on a few issues. I have the Order Number GA-069 which gave us in the 76th AMU are "V" for our Unit Award but I discharged before it was recorded. Plus I'm missing another cluster for it from Travis. I have those orders. I just need a site to make sure I have what they want, and check to see if anything else is missing. Where can I look?? http://www.afpc.randolph.af.mil/AwardsNet/SearchUnitAwards.aspx?Mode=Graphics That page shows 1991 to the present. I dont know if prior to that is even available online. Assault is a type of behavior, not a type of rifle. |

Thanks Jack, GA-069 was for the early one (Cornet LightingIII) and GB-613 was for the 23rd TFW(P) the one with the "V" divce. Thats the one I was missing, I'll have to write AFMPC for the older ones. Goose I know now for a FACT that Truth is Stranger than Fiction and IT CAN ALWAYS BE WORST! |

Glad I could help. I really should bookmark that page. Every time I need to look something up, I spend a half an hour looking for the page. There used to be a whole separate page for CENTCOM unit awards, but it looks like they've added all those to the regular unit awards page. Assault is a type of behavior, not a type of rifle. |

Jack I'm going to keep that one checked too, I'm going to send the info to MPC ,get in included in my records, I found out too I spent enough time TDY plus the KAL-007 support we did in 83 that they say I earned my ROK medal and put in for it. I should of known when they shown me with 12&half months Remote Duty. I thought it was the "Sandbox" only but looked at the records I have and I should have another one. The Biggy is my Discharge Papers Show differant than my 214, I have my Active date I left but they didnt discharge me according to the USAF until June 95 due too my IRR time plus the "BAG DRAGS" the 927th ARW made me do. I have 4 extra days Active Duty because of those orders. Just making sure its all together. Thanks Again Jack Goose I know now for a FACT that Truth is Stranger than Fiction and IT CAN ALWAYS BE WORST! |
