I watched the movie "Courage Under Fire" last night and again this morning, to make sure of what I saw. I was walking away when watching it last night and missed part of it, reason for rewatching this morning. Anyway......near the end there is a scene when the Huey is leaving after picking Lou Diamond Phillips and the others up from the crash site. You hear a "familiar whine" and they look out of the chopper to see an A-10 make a pass. In the quick look I got, did the hog have teeth? Knowing it was just a movie and all, did the Hogs carry napalm in GW1? lol |

you only see it for quick second, but i dont remember seeing teeth. if i remember the hog was painted the "Peanut" camo (tan/brown/dark brown). since ive never seen a hog with napalm on the wings, im going to say no. if i recall, the only aircraft to drop napalm during GW1 was the Harrier.....but dont quote me on that. |

Marine Hornets also apparently dropped napalm to burn off the oil the Iraqis had dumped into trenches. I dont have any info regarding Hawgs dropping napalm. Brownells calls me Aaron Burr cause the way I'm droppin Hamilton$ |

If any was droped by A-10s it would have came out of KFIA But the 23rd Wing didn't use them. We did not turn any aircraft at the FOL up at KKMC with the BLU-27,pretty sure the A-10 did not use them. Some AV-8 Harriers did drop some MK-77 weapons in the first gulf war Carl 76th FS WEAPONS LOADING |
