Dice, Chief, Coach, Goose, <i>et al</i>- Anyone have any ideas on what/which these two Hawgs might be?:

The tail no. is NO 227 with a Goofy Dog marking.

The other one is 23rd Fighter Group, Sept 2002, tail no : FT 23 FG 964 "Mig Killer".

964 is the 74 FS commander's jet at Pope. It was the jet Todd Sheehy (511 TFS, Alconbury) was flying in DS when he shot down an Iraqi helicopter.

I misread the post, the Mig Killer thing was stuck on the jet after a 74 FS trip to Red Flag in 2002. It was taken off very soon after it returned to Pope.

80-227 flys with the 111th out of Willow Grove. here's a shot of 964 when it was the Pope Demo jet in 2002.....
