A couple of air refuel shots of 80-0141 enroute from Bentwaters back to the USA after our TDY in May 83. Taken by myself while on esta package, via ride on KC-10. Hope these turn out OK as I took a digital of a 35mm picture. I cannot find my scanner since the move! <img src="http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e226/CairoRob/A10002.jpg" border=0> <img src="http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e226/CairoRob/A10003.jpg" border=0> <img src="http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e226/CairoRob/A10004.jpg" border=0> Edited by - Hogsnort on Aug 31 2006 12:20 |

I was at WR during that deployment...man, those were some great times! If anyone invents a time machine, I know when and where I would be going back to! Cheers! M2 |

Not only a good TDY for us, but this trip also allowed me 2 weekends visiting my grandparents in Bedford. This unfortunately was my last time able to see my grandfather before his passing. So this was a trip that will be embedded in my heart & mind for all of time! It was great to see the guys trying some of the different foods, and of course some really sick drunks, not being used to the beer! Can't say how many nights we closed the pub in the hotel we were in only to stay locked in drinking into the wee hours of the morning! The guys in my place finally started to like drinking the "motor oil"! Guiness of course! "If breathing wasn't a natural act, you would have been dead along time ago"! MMMMMMM...Guiness. The Second Amendment: America's original homeland security. Ya just can’t take life too seriously, because you aren’t going to get out of it alive anyway. |
