Maybe an idea. Take the front of the A-10 gun and a devilpicture. Maybe you can photoshop that in one picture. You made the evil gun.

Dice-man I send you two pictures, maybe is it something for you.

Last question: When is halloween? We don't have it in the Netherlands.

All Hallows Eve, dutchy. 31 Oct. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halloween

Halloween is an observance celebrated on the night of October 31, most notably by children dressing in costumes and going door-to-door collecting sweets or money. It is celebrated in much of the Western world, though most common in the United States, Puerto Rico, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Canada, and with increasing popularity in Australia and New Zealand. Halloween originated in Ireland as the pagan Celtic harvest festival, Samhain. Irish, Scots and other immigrants brought older versions of the tradition to North America in the 19th century. Most other Western countries have embraced Halloween as a part of American pop culture in the late 20th century.

Etc, etc.

i remember the last time i went Trick-er-Treating. I stopped at this one house, said my line, she said "The Doors Open!"

No No, the story doesnt go that way (i wish) but the lady was on the phone and she said "the candies righ there, take one and have a good night" i look down and see a HUGE bowl of approx. 100 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, now keep in mind, that is my favorite candy (until the "Big Cups" came out). With the lady distracted, i grabbed the bowl, put all of the cups in my bag and started running.

That was the last house i ever visited. i was back home in 45 min, my parents thought i got bored or something. Having good parents, i threw my candy on the table and took out the crap and they took a few for themselves. Of course they asked if i visited the same house several times, i said "yea"

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, it’s getting cooler, the leaves are falling, and everyone is getting ready for the winter ahead. When I was growing up in the country we would get to go to the “big city” (a town of only 10,000) and trick-or-treat (TOT), this was one of the high-lights of my childhood. My cousin and I (he lived next door) would come home and watch scary movies and eat candy until we couldn’t stand any more.

Now I like to decorate for the TOT’s, watch scary movies, and hand out candy on Halloween. IMHO Halloween is another tradition we are losing because of our dangerous and overly PC society. Some day stories of trick-or-treating may only be stories you tell your grandchildren.

I'm not terribly goot with computer graphics of even photo editing. However maybe you can find someone to paint an A-10 orange (in pumpkin fashion) and go with an upturned smile (in cut out fashion - blackened). Maybe that might be worth a try, eh?

I forgot is almost. Thanks for the information about Halloween 30Mike-Mike. For me was it only a name for a sceary party, now I know more about it. An orange Hawg? Sounds intresting, with a devil smile on it.

I think Dice-Man surprised us with a nice Halloween idea and pictures.

ps.Orange is the national color of the Netherlands

30MM that speech was reminiscent of Linus giving his speech about Haloween. Maybe you can stay up all night waiting for the Great Pumpkin to.

Dutchy,

Is All Saints' Day/All Souls Day familiar to you? Holloween stems from that, "All Hollowed/Hallow' Eve", which celebrates the saints in Europe.

A kid has to have something to believe in, horrido! What do you think Dice did as a child that would create the Halloween maestro he is today? Where do you think Schultz got the model for his Great Pumpkin gig? Hmmm??

Horrido, no it is not familiar to me. We got at 5 December Sinterklaas, that is a sort Santa Claus for the kids. It is an older tradition than Santa Claus.

Think maybe you just loaded a cannon and got a few minds to turning! Can't you hear the wheels a turning and smell that ever present smoke when a crew chief starts to thinking?

That's a good idea. Carve an A-10 into a gourd?

Ignorance may be bliss, but it sure ain't fun!

I can build models, but for the life of me I cannot carve a pumpkin like you see others do so well. If anyone has one that turns out I'd like to see a picture of it. Aw heck, maybe I'll try it too, I'll get my grand daughters to help me.

I can only carve a pumpkin while standing in the patch with gas and a match.

It dont work either.

Dice, I'm sure one of these guys or better yet get ahold of one of the Units over in Sand land to do it for you..

We went Trick or Treating back then to the tents, and if things werent so damn PC these days I would just have guys dressed as "the Bad guys running from the A-10 thru the HUD and then have them turn into Ghost in front of your eyes.
That would be pretty cool.

Good Idea Hawkeye but I just don't have the time of talent to do sure a thing. If you get one carved please post pictures and I may post it on my website.

I guess I will just have to pull out the "old" stuff for the Hog Pens Halloween webpage, The Black Catt of hangar 1, the two Halloween music videos I've made (Lordi and Alice Cooper), and one of my old wallpapers.

Maybe I can whip out a model of an A-10 done up like the Great Pumpkin! The schedule is full but I will see if I can squeeze in some time to play around with it...I might have a 1/72 scale one partially started in my spares box...Hmmm. I'll look tonight!

It is not an idea for you wallpaper (you got pics of mine for that), more for your allways good fun Halloween ideas. Place a little speaker in the mouth of a scary pumpkin (or behind a A-10 model) and let it play "welcome to my nightmare" from Alice Cooper.
