In light of recent events with the crocodile hunter, I would like to see if
you could post this picture of him and wife Terry with us crew dogs at Eglin
AFB in 2002. He filmed and aired video from the flight line however, the
footage they shot with the A-10 S/N- 81-0989 never made it off the editing table.

Cool picture, thanks for sharing. I know there is one programm that he is chasing vipers (snakes) and flying vipers (planes), I think the same year.

I remember seeing that Show where he was clearing snakes for Speical Forces/Rangers training and they did show a Clip of him standing next to a Hog and hanging on the Gun talking about the "Warthog"
I didnt see that picture though.

Not to distract from the loss of such an intense individual as the Crock Hunter, but I have been looking for some snapshots from the 80's for the WWF Wrestling Fans out there in WT land!

I have some shots of Hacksaw Jim Duggan sitting in my jet and hanging on the gun like an ape and just being his usual character of a self!
One of my pilots in the 75th had went to school with Hacksaw in Glenn Falls NY. Hacksaw used to wrestle in the Midsouth area and the Midsouth Coliseum there in ALexandria.

Hacksaw came out and visited the line a couple times during weekend duty to get some pics and stuff. Neat Guy.

Goose, or any others in Alex during the 83-86 time frame happen to remember some of his TV commercials? He used to wave a 30mm round when talking about Skandar Akbar or The Iron Sheik, one of those two!

I didn't know there were any green hogs (flying, anyway) left in 2002. Was that one of the last ones to get painted? We had a green one at Pope until around 2003 I think, but that was the WLT jet.


Assault is a type of behavior, not a type of rifle.

Pic is earlier than '02, I got to Eglin in Feb '01 and 989 got painted grey in Sep-Oct '01. Probably from '00 timeframe because 2 of the individuals pictured had already left here before I got here.

I just remember, Congressman,State politicans,Soap Stars, at England but during TDY's I think we just about let anyone who wanted too sit in the seat.
My Dad came down and I got a picture of him sitting in 166.
I figure if the "Big Guys" can so can the "Little People "<img src=newicons/anim_bs.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
Just made sure the seat was pinned, and DONT TOUCH ANYTHING.
