A diagram of an API round that I have shows that the primer in the cartridge is an "electric primer". The inert TP round that I have has an indentation in the primer that looks like it was made by a firing pin of some sort. Can anyone tell me if the primer is an electric or impact type?

Thanks,

Bob

Correct terminology would be "percussion primed."
