I am referring to the projectile portion of the round in my question. Exactly how much does it weigh? I want to figure its' weight in grains There are 7000 grains in a pound. How much does a TP slug weigh?? HEI? AP?

They weigh between .95 and .98 pounds depending on which one. Sorry, I don't have a Dash-34 here to give you the exact weights.

The tip portion weighs that much?? Wow. I just wanted to know for curiousitys sake. You know, like a .357 bullet weighs 158 grains, a .223 weighs 55, a .50BMG is like 661.... I want to figure out in grains the 30mm. Thanks Coach.

The DU core in the HVAPDU projectile weighs .66lbs according to several old books i used to have on the A-10.
