While looking thru e-bay at some A-10 stuff I was reading info on a book about DS1.
It lists the A-10 units involved and shows the 74th & 76th?
When it lists some pilots names I recognize them all as 75th guys from when I was there in 86?

It lists pictures also. One says .....Capt. Steve Phyllis just before fatal mission.
Was he a combat fatality?
He was one of my guys in the 75th and I remeber him as a great young Lt! Super Nice Guy.

For you guys that were there I am sure I'll get an answer or three.....specially Goose! LOL

Hogsnort

We didnt loose any pilots, and Storr was our only POW.
He must of PCS'ed.
The 75th filled up the holes in the AMU's (74th&75th) plus we had one or 2 of their Jets.
The orders were "One for One exchange" someone left the AOR, they were replaced.
Thorny came over during one of those swap outs/
