While looking thru e-bay at some A-10 stuff I was reading info on a book about DS1. It lists the A-10 units involved and shows the 74th & 76th? When it lists some pilots names I recognize them all as 75th guys from when I was there in 86? It lists pictures also. One says .....Capt. Steve Phyllis just before fatal mission. Was he a combat fatality? He was one of my guys in the 75th and I remeber him as a great young Lt! Super Nice Guy. For you guys that were there I am sure I'll get an answer or three.....specially Goose! LOL |

Hogsnort We didnt loose any pilots, and Storr was our only POW. He must of PCS'ed. The 75th filled up the holes in the AMU's (74th&75th) plus we had one or 2 of their Jets. The orders were "One for One exchange" someone left the AOR, they were replaced. Thorny came over during one of those swap outs/ Goose LIVE FREE OR DIE! |
