lets see how smart this crew is. Years ago now we hung both decells back on a bird with no problems. As we started the ops checks we found as one would open the other would close. Nothing other had been touched but the boards. If I remember they came down for paint. See if you can come up with what was the cause of this little problem.

If you are going to be dumb you have to be tough.(words from a old flight chief)I heard it a lot.

Speedbrake cam-limit switch backwards maybe? Seen this before, but can't remember for sure what caused it...

Well, something had to be touched other than the boards. I'm stumped. Then again, I've never been in phase or A/R, flightline only, so my experience in that area is relatively limited.

When the Decell was reinstaled the Hydo lines from another aircraft had been installed in the Rt side. The lines installed where Lt hand lines. I have no idea how they evan connected but they did and that is what caused the problem.

You said NOTHING ELSE HAD BEEN TOUCHED except the boards...

In other words, it was exactly the same, except something was different.

Sounds like someone needs some remedial AFTO 781 training.

That would lead me to belive that the lines and been installed properly...

on a brighter side at least you remembered to remove the speed brake blocks prior to the operational checks. I've seen guys forget to do that and it creates a hell of a problem.
