the assignment team is headed to Cannon next month and Im triing to get back to the A-10s. I have had enough of the lawn darts. I would like the east cost. I cant do the DM Heat anymore.

Assignment team? I was under the impression that they had done away with that? Maybe just overseas? Everybody at Eielson just has to play EQUALS roulette.

Thats another thing I missed out on . The first time I heard about having to \"Apply\" for a regular assignment was in late 91, I wanted away from Travis AFB and back on the A-10 ,En Route, T/A or a C-130 outfit
I told assignments I'd take a Remote or an over seas long ,then they told me , first \"NO\" and second I had to apply for an assignment.
I figured it was the \"Dream sheet\" dart game still.

Pretty bad you couldn't get a remote, before they couldn't wait to \"SHOVE YOU IN THE PLANE\".

nope they didn't do away with it. this will be my 3rd one. I am either #1 or 2 pic, so Ill pretty much get my choice. The list of bases will be given to us later this week. I applied for a remote but that did not happen either.

never mind, I came into work today to find orders on my desk. I will be heading back to Osan 2 years to the date that I left

I hated getting orders a year advance let alone 2 years., When I got my orders to Japan I had 90 days notice.
