I was wondering where Coach was, I've just started reading 'The Warthog and the Close Air Support Debate' by Douglas N Campbell, a book he has recommended and gets a mention in. |

He is credited in the bibliography for the book on page 258, he was consulted in a telephone interview with the author. I'm making my way through the book right now, and an excellent read it is too, if you want the real info on how the Hog came about and its subsequent development and career, this book has it all. Most other A-10 books, good as they are, aren't able to devote as many pages to the Hogs difficult birth. Sorry, bit of thread creep here. |
