Just got back from Spang where we finished up a val/ver on a new mod..one that's going to make hangar rash very expensive. It's going to be fleet wide so get used to seeing some weird lumps and bumps on the old girl. If you want a few more details and I know who you are (or if you have a dot mil addy) drop me a message. One of the things that caught my attention was the TCTO number (-502). With the addition of the \"C\", they're restarting all the numbers, seemed strange seeing numbers that low. Spang hasn't changed a whole lot in the three years since I was last there, the new main gate is open, the BX still sucks, there's now some C-17's on the ramp and that crazy intersection where the road from the old gate comes into the base is as dangerous as ever if you don't understand how the right of way works. They do have a new coin, or at least it's different from the one I got last time. I'm headed back in about 6 weeks so if anyone wants one, let me know and I'll pick it up..they're 5 bucks..I'd scan it but my kid already grabbed it..funny, I don't recall telling him it was his, must be losing my memory. This is what they're now using. I hope nobody is in a hurry, I won't be heading back over there until the kits are ready, should be around 6 weeks before GTRI has them done. Don't worry about the $$, I'm one of those overpaid/under worked contractors, I'll square away with everyone when I get back.
