From Lockheed Martin's Code One mag featuring one of our very own forum members (Aceart) pictures.

I haven't read the piece yet so I can't give an opinion...enjoy and thanks for sending it in aceart!

That's been the quoted top speed of the A-10 for years and has become a media standard.

BTW they also speak of two A-10Bs.....man that Old Wives tale will never die.

So, overall - what did you guys think of the story. On another board someone didn't so much as slam the piece but described it as fluff and that the only reason it was in the magazine was that LM was making loads of money off the project. (It is a company mag)

So was the piece worthless? is \"no press\" good press in tis day and age? A SOF guy I talked to once admitted once to me that \"If we don't tell folks something about what we do, they'll never give us money to do it.\"

I don’t think it say anything that hasn’t been said before but, like you said it is a Lockheed Martrin publication and they have the right to “toot their own horn” if they wish. I think you did a good job with the story and, like jack, I loved the pics.
