Hey guys, a friend of mine with the 111th FW sent me these pics the other day. Since they made it through ok, I'm assuming they are ok to post and share. If not, I apologize and mods can delete this post asap. I don't think there's anything 'secretive' about these pics, but I at least want to make sure. These weren't even pics he took, kind of generic ones that seemed to be passed around. So anyways....enjoy. Brian

Waltz, I don't see a problem with the images except the only with the pilot in it (which I removed) because I don't think you should post images of people on the net without their OK. BTW thinks for the pics...nice! |

624 an old Barnes jet. I'm jealous at least someone is getting back into the fight. |

Thanks Dice, yeah,...I didn't even really think about the pilot one. Here's another shot of 624 when it took off to go over from Willow Grove on May 8th. When I got these pics from my friend, I took a look at the pics I took that day when they left, first ones matched up. It was wierd seeing the same jet in two completely different backgrounds.

Man, your right Billy its tough seeing a \"Familiar\" Hog with some else's unit. Whats strange and some of you GW1 guys can see is that Hawg only has the \"Center Line\" loaded thats a far cry from flying with \"Dual Tanks\" and Loaded out with a full load Mav's , AIM-9's, and \"Party Mix\" plus 2 travel pods with ground gear (Chocks etc.) and then the Pilots gear. Great pictures Waltz Goose |

Great pictures Waltz Goose Man I remember crossing to Bentwaters/Woodbridge in 83, this old girl almost looks nekked compared to how we looked crossing the pond! LOL As you said Goose, Triple's on the fuel, doubles on the pod's, and whatever other toy's they wanted tossed on her! I was on the ESTA Package when we went over, was a better way to go than straight over as a regular gomer! We stopped in Laje's Azores on way over and then damn I just went blank! I'll have to think about the return and add to this later! LOL I remember it was a SAC stop near Canada.Had Buff's and "other" stuff sitting there as I remember. |

C models will only carry a centerline. Goose, wait until you see the pics when the \"C\" arrives . The stuff hangin' under the wings may be totally alien to you! (for A-10's). |

Not quite true Cheese head. The pylons are still wet capableafter the C conversion. It just becomes a pain in the arse to do it. |

The Hog has come along way, I'm sure alot of the \"GIZMO's \" are strange and some of the other \"Add-ons\" but I wish I had a Chance to \"Jump\" back in. I know every aircraft I worked on had some kind of \"Major Over Haul\" and you learned \"Hands on\" because they never sent instructions Hogsnort the stop just came to me writing this post, it was \"New Hampshire\" I just don't remember the Name was it \"Pease AFB\"? I just know I got Threatened to be thrown-out of the Bar for walking across the room with a Beer in my hand. Something to do with the \"Laws\" from the 1700's Goose |

Maybe we shouldn’t get into what the A-10C can and can’t not carry, even if it’s just fuel tanks because, that goes into specific aircraft capabilities which I don’t like to see discussed on an open forum. Feel free to take it to PM or shoot me an email to my .mil addy, from your .mil, and I’ll give you the straight scoop on the matter. |
