I Think i remember a story about a special paint or panels on a A-10 that could change color in flight. I cant remember where i saw it, I keep thinking maybe a story from Grumman? Seems the pilot could control the color by changing a electric current that ran through the paint |

Can't say I've ever heard that one. If you're asking whether the A-10 ever had such a thing, the answer is No. OC |

They just up and disappear! after that I made sure the \"WEZ\" was set to Heavy Metal, as I was Tucked under his Primary Heat Exchanger the rest of the flight. |

NO these were not light strips .the entire airframe was to be charged and had some type of special paint, various voltages would cause the paint would change color. The paper i had showed a F-16 and a A-10 around (86-87 ish) |
