I am trying to get in touch with some of the old Crew chiefs at Pope AFB. I was there for 3 years and finished my enlistment there. I am looking for MSGT? Ron Farmer, and Would like to know if 79-0204 was still flying. This was my old jet and last thing I knew she was used for parts in the desert.

Hope to hear back

Your old jet is still flying with the 75th at Pope! <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle> I know a MSgt Farmer and will check with him to see if he knows you first chance I get.

Thanks Dice!!!!

If you do contact him ask him if "Wally" is still in MB. Ron is an Engine man by heart, but I'm sure he moved up in the ranks to FL Super by now. He and I worked 79-0138 as a team then I got 9204 as my DCC bird. I was also there the day the F-16 crashed on the ramp and killed all of the army guys. Ron spotted the canopy from the Flight Shack

Nice to hear that U remembered. Gill could not keep up with my old tractor if he tried. It was the worst on the line when I got it, but it sure turned out good when I got thru with it.

Say hey to anyone that is at Pope. What ever happened to my old bag of parts of peices and pieces of parts?

Hey Pete, saw Goob on IM and thought I'd drop you a line. Wally is here at the beach working at the FBO in Conway for NIA twisting wrenchs on the little ones. I'm a corporate trainer for HTC here in Conway. Keep in touch. dju968@sccoast.net
