My two sons are giving a presentation on the A-10 for school. Does anyone have any information or material (posters, pictures, etc.) you would mind to share? Ben (9) and Brad (6) are crazy about the "hog".
Thank you,
Virginia Proffit

Speaking of Gen. Proffit, did you see the news reports a few years back about an Air Force Gulfstream that went down somewhere in Alabama or Georgia? Gen. Proffit was on that bird. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

It may have been "in memoriam", as I do recall seeing his name on the list of victims of that crash.

Update: Here's a link to an article on the AF's web site about the memorial service:

Miss Virginia
I have some lithographs and a quite few good photos I’d be willing to share. But for true visual effect the video I have of the A-10, made at Crooked Creek in the 80s (anyone remember that one) would be much better for show and tell. It’s outdated as it shows the Soviet threat to Germany and Western Europe (or maybe it isn’t out of date) but it is very informative and got some truly spectacular shoot-em-ups in it. Please feel free to e-mail me your address at jkadams@nlamerica.com JKA
