Greetings all..

I belong to the Desert Combat development team http://www.desertcombat.com and I am currently creating a new 3d cockpit for the A10 Thunderbolt II. I have searched long and hard for some good detailed photos of the A10's cockpit via the web but so far have not come up with the quality I need to accurately depict the gauges and panels. I thought that this forum would definately be the best place to request such images. Any leads to links to such images would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently still in development of the 3d model and you can see the work in progress at the following links:

The new A10 cockpit will be contained in our next release of Desertcombat (.4) as well as many other added new models, maps and features.

Again, thank you in advance for any assistance.

Thanks Homer32 for the link. Unfortunately the site seems to be down at the moment. Our desert combat email server seems to be down as well so apologies for not responding to anyone who may have sent me email at joe@desertcombat.com

Best bet is to send to joe@joehalper.com

Looks good.
I am assuming you use 3DSMAX for modeling?

Edit:
Do I see a F-16N on that carrier by chance?

Might be, in battle field 1942 B-17s have landed and taken off from ships too.

[get on soapbox] That irritates me so much!!! If people are gonna build a game about something, let it be accurate! Either put B-25's in the game, or don't put the feature in! [/get off soapbox]

The F16N was not carrier capable. It was simply an A model that had no gun and was soley used for ACM training. Of course the NAVY Broke every damn one of them!

Actualy from intel that petrov has, the F-16N was bastard child! Block 30 smallmouth with A model radar and no gun. You are right MrMudd the USN was very harsh to the airframe. Lets hope they treat their "new" aggressors better (a big thank you to the waki paki's)
