What was up with the downtime anyways?

As much as I'd like to blame it on terrorists or the power outage, we're on the west coast and I can't pass the buck. Bunch of stuff... the firewall software lost all its rules, computer got infected by a non-destructive worm, and in trying to get that fixed, I misconfigured something and the machine wouldn't reboot. So, drove 160 miles round-trip yesterday to bring the server home to work on it. Got it back up and running and returned it to the hosting facility today.
